Ivy & Noah’s October wedding in the Caribbean, on the island where they met 🤍

Guests gathered on Aruba from all over the world to celebrate, some friends traveling from as far as New Zealand to be present.
Getting ready, and a first look with private vows amidst the palm trees of a former coconut plantation, at the beautiful Boardwalk Boutique Hotel. Thoughtful details everywhere, such as Ivy’s wedding perfume called The Wedding ✨ After the ceremony on the beach the sun set in spectacular fashion (truly a sunset for the books), followed by a candlelit long-table dinner in Ivy’s mother’s garden, surrounded by horses, bougainvillea flowers and cacti.

With Hurricane system Melissa passing nearby those days, we kept the neighbouring islands in our thoughts while we wondered if that day would stay dry. It stopped after a few drops in the morning. Ivy & Noah fully embraced the muted skies, warm air, and softened light. It lent the day an even deeper sense of meaning and atmosphere.

2025, such a bright year! From fjords in Canada, to vows by the Caribbean sea amidst a hurricane warning, to black-tie celebrations, I tried fitting 16 weddings, 5 countries in this one reel but it doesn’t do justice to this incredible year. For which I’m deeply, deeply grateful.

Here to say a big thank you to my couples whose special days I got to document this year, and all the kind people, fellow photographers, talented artists, planners, videographers, I had the opportunity to (continue to) work or connect with; Kim @kimcapteinphotography_ who brought me along to a few of these weddings, and Roos @rooses.studio who came with me as a second photographer. All of you made this year unforgettable and showed me the importance of lifting each other up. And of course, big love to my closest circle near and far who supported me throughout, ily 🤍

Can’t wait for what’s coming in the new year, some special trips lay ahead. Final 2026 wedding dates are being booked now, let’s chat soon, I’m excited to hear your plans!
